I chose a butterfly because it symbolizes rebirth and hope, like how when we get baptized we are reborn and have hope in our future. The main body is gray because it represents the world, because it is gray means gloomy and the world at times makes everything seem hard. The wings are white because God makes us fly or helps us and the blue overlays the white because blue means sadness and coldness because just because we believe in God does not mean life and you are perfect. Sometimes God makes us do hard things but we must look at the good because even though blue means sadness and coldness if you look a little deeper it also means peace, calm, truth, and wisdom, so I like to call this piece “The Spiritual Seeking.”
