What is the WesternFund?
The Westen Fund is our annual campaign that raises unrestricted gifts for Western. Unrestricted money is used to benefit all areas of the school, including our 45-acre campus, excellent faculty, technological improvements, financial aid, curriculum enhancements, and many other school initiatives. Western Fund gifts go to work immediately, ensuring all our students achieve their potential to think, lead and change the world.
Why does annual giving matter?
All non-profits, including Western, need money to operate. The Western Fund supports our operating budget, as tuition alone does not fully cover the cost of a Western Christian education. That means every single student benefits from the Western Fund. A gift to the Western Fund is a vote of confidence and a point of pride for our remarkable school.
Where will my gift be used?
When you give a “Wherever the Need is Greatest” Western Fund gift, you are giving WCS the flexibility to meet its highest priority funding needs, such as providing a challenging and innovative curriculum, superb teaching, and close attention to each student’s personal development. If you so choose, you may also direct your unrestricted gift to support an area meaningful to you, such as:
- Athletics
- Faculty Enrichment
- Financial Aid
- STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math)
- Visual and Performing Arts
- Campus Upgrades
How much should I give?
All gifts, no matter the size, are valued and appreciated. You determine the designation of your gift according to your charitable interests and the size of your gift at a level that is meaningful to you. Any gift is a vote of confidence in the mission of Western Christian School and an investment in our students’ success.

Honoring a loved one at Western
Gifts in memory or in honor
Western Christian School offers the opportunity to give a gift in honor of an individual, such as a beloved teacher or an alumnus. If you would like to make a gift in memory or honor of someone, please indicate when making your gift online.
On receipt of such a gift, Western will contact the honoree or, in cases of memorial gifts, the family of the individual you wish to honor to inform them of the gift. Western will provide donors with a gift acknowledgment.
